Learn Forex trading !

For someone with zero experience and knowledge in the Forex market, getting started in the trading can be an overwhelming task. Various pitfalls, such as huge losses, can discourage even the most experienced trader. Since Forex trading can be a confusing business, you need to follow several guidelines to success.

First, learn Forex trading by choosing the most qualified brokerage firm. Although some firms are better than others are, you have a ton of options in terms of age, reputation and courses to offer. Generally, you should choose a well-established company with a good reputation that is tied to banks or various financial institutions. To ensure that a brokerage firm is legitimate, check if the company is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
To learn Forex trading effectively, the brokerage firm should provide you with multiple research tools, such as charts, real-time quotes, trading techniques and research reports. You should choose a firm that offers its account holders as much information as possible. Be aware that the more knowledgeable you are with Forex trading, the more successful you can become in the market. Lastly, choose a highly regarded brokerage form with favorable spread. Be aware that a company with a good spread means that the firm takes off the top of each trade, translating into more profit for you.

In order to learn Forex trading, you need hands-on courses that allow you to experience the market firsthand. Of course, investing money without proper knowledge can lead to disastrous losses, so opening up a demo account should be your next move. With this demo account, you learn Forex trading firsthand because you will be given a pretend balance, which you could use to play around and experience the feel for Forex trading before using real money.
Most demo accounts are free-of-charge for an entire month. During this time, you can learn Forex trading and all its features, techniques and tricks without losing any money. Plus, you are able to master the software, which enables you to make fast trades when the time comes to trade. It is important not to rush the 1-month trial period because this is the most important phase of your trading course.

Once you learn Forex trading and experience a whole month's worth of market experience, then you can now use a real account with actual money. However, never invest large amounts of money; start small and try not to break the bank when getting started in the market place. By choosing a good broker, maximizing the benefits of a demo account and taking your investment one-step at a time, you learn Forex trading can be a fulfilling experience when executed the right way.

7 Tips to better Currency Trading

Currency trading training is not over when a trader finally sees the equity increasing in their account.
The Forex market is a very demanding environment and for a trader to maintain a success level, constant currency trading training is necessary.
The following 7 favorite tips can be used as timely reminders and need to be read and absorbed on a regular basis:

#1 - Take Responsibility
"The buck stops here." Don't blame the markets, or a host of other factors for a losing trade. You entered it for whatever reasons you had at the time. Take responsibility for it.
#2 - Use Each Losing Trade As A Stepping Stone
You lost a trade? Good. It will help you focus on a potential problem in your trading method. If after careful analysis you are satisfied you worked according to your plan, fine. Move on.
#3 - Never Become Impatient With The Market
New traders in the early stages of their currency trading training can be eaten alive by the market. During periods of consolidation with little liquidity the anxious impatient trader will force trading opportunities where there none.
Learn to accept the fact that around 70% of the time price will be in a consolidation channel.
#4 - Focus Daily On Improving Your Trading Skills
Currency trading training is an ongoing process. Day by day, step by step the trader improves. So rather than be preoccupied with profits and losses, concentrate on developing the skills. Your account will start to reflect your focus in time.

#5 - Be Pleased With Well Executed Trades Whatever The Outcome
Is this possible? Yes. You can feel well pleased even with a losing trade if you stuck to your methodology and executed the trade well. It is dangerous to feel good about a winning trade when you went against your trading method to achieve it. Your elation is likely to be short lived. Learn to execute the plan!
#6 - If In Doubt Stay Out
The feeling of regret can drain a person mentally and emotionally from entering a poorly considered trade. Once the trigger has been pulled and the trade starts going wrong, the agony of watching it inch towards your stop should renew in the trader the determination to stay out when in doubt!
#7 - Always Have A Good Reason
Currency trading training involves careful analysis of reasons for entering a trade. Just because price is high is not a reason to go short or long if price is low. Price will do what price wants to do so rather than trading from gut reaction, e.g. "Price can't go any higher (or lower)" learn to detach emotions and use pure technical analysis to establish a number of reasons why you should take a trade.
As currency trading training is a long term commitment, skills and disciplines learned can sometimes be forgotten as bad habits creep in.
It is necessary to constantly renew the thinking processes by repeating over and over the habits of successful traders.
These 7 favorite tips will keep the newer trader out of a lot of trouble!

Trading in the unpredictable Forex market without a broker could possibly lead to disastrous results for the normal investor. Even choosing the wrong Forex broker for your needs will lead to the same disastrous results.
• It is very important that you be sincere in researching any prospective brokerage firms to handle your financial portfolio. A good Forex broker will supply you with successful clients contact info with out any hesitation. Check out their client history and you should get a pretty good idea about them. Note that testimonials by traders should be used as a part of research in finding the right forex broker but not the deciding factor as many brokers have "special" clients who will speak just positive about them.
• Another good way to test the reliability of any Forex broker is the amount of information, literature and tutorials that they are giving to you. Most Forex brokers out there are of a decent reputation as well as a solid background. But, there are quite a few out there that don't have a good history or no history and it is wise to avoid such forex brokers.

• Another simple but good avenue to find out about prospective forex brokers is to ask your aquaintaces about the forex brokers they deal with. This will not only give you prospective referrals to great Forex brokers but will also equip you with decent ideas and resources that you may not have located. If you get a referral, be sure to do your own research on the broker. DO not commit to any broker until you have completely analysed them.
• A Forex trading margin heavily influences your money and various Forex brokers offer different margins. If you find a Forex broker, who is giving you a margin of ten to one isn't a very good find so it's worthwhile to put some time in research. Remember that forex market is all about customer service and catering to the customers.

What Is A Forex Pip ?

In the forex world, Pip stands for Percentage In Point and is used to describe the smallest denominator or increment on the currency market. In most markets a pip is valued at 0.0001 (four decimal places) except for the Japanese Yen which is valued at two decimal places (0.01).

Confused yet?

Well think of it in everyday terms. When you go to the grocery store, the smallest possible piece of money you can hand over is 1 cent. There cannot be anything smaller then that. Same thing goes for the grocery store owner, he can only price things at 1 cent or go up in 1 cent increments.

So now we have the basics. Lets have an example! Say you entered the currency marketed trading euro's when the market rate was 1.2134. You wait a while and then sold on those euro's for 1.2144. In the currency exchange world we would say you have made 10 pips, or up 10 pips. Obviously because 1.2144 - 1.2134 = 0.0010.

Your probably thinking you've seen numbers like 1.2144 in your life before. And you would be right! Think about every night when you watch the evening news. They are expressing the currency rates in pips. Atleast now you will know what they are talking about!

So we know what a forex pip is, but we cant exactly brag to our mates that we are 10 pips up can we! Well luckily pips have a very good use. In the most basic of uses, they can be used to calculate profit on a foreign exchange trade. We commonly use the expression :

Pips Made x $(Initial Investment) = $(Profit)

So if we then switch that into real world money terms. Lets say we invested $10,000 into any currency. And we made 15 pips gain before we sold our trade.

0.0015 x $10,000 = $15

If you play around with these numbers a bit you will realise that if your initial investment is $10,000 (Which is a common amount when in the currency market), then for every pip gained, you will gain $1.

It doesnt sound like an awful lot does it. But you have to remember over time, and with big investment. We can get alot of these "Pip" movements happening.

Making money trading

Making money trading on the forex market online can be hard, especially if you don't have any previous experience. I was sick and tired of hearing about investment bankers and economists making huge amounts of money at the click of a button, why should they be the only ones who can benefit from the forex markets?

That's why decided to take the plunge and buy Forex Automoney, which is a truly brilliant automatic trading system. I didn't have any experience in forex trading at all, in fact the nearest I ever got to the financial markets was going to the bank to withdraw money so I could pay my rent!

But with this product it is so easy to start earning yourself a steady profit, and the great thing is you don't have to dedicate your life to trading - it's the perfect way to earn extra money without having to change your lifestyle.

I had tried a few other forex related products, as I'm sure many of you reading this review have. I found that they really didn't work for me, in fact I bought one product only to find out that the results it had apparently 'achieved' were total lies.

One other forex robot I bought turned out to be really complicated and I spent more time trying to get everything set up than I did actually trading. I was so glad to find out about Forex Automoney because it is so much simpler than the other products I had tried. I was up and trading almost straight away, I couldn't believe it!

The best thing is that I don't have to be at my computer 24/7, I can simply spend a few minutes each day checking the system and then it will do everything else for me. Not bad huh?! That means you can still keep your existing job and just use forex trading to earn a little bit of extra spending money, or once you've seen how great this software is you may decide that you can survive simply from your forex profits alone.

When I tried forex trading before I was overwhelmed with all the complicated terms and technical methods for working out when I should buy and when I should sell. Since using Forex Automoney I have nothing more to worry about, the system tells me in plain English when I should buy, and when I should sell. Simply follow the instructions and you can't go wrong, this system does it all for you. These signals really do take all the guess work out, and let anyone take advantage of the currency markets.

You may wonder how long it will take before you start to see a return on your investment, well I started making a small profit almost immediately, and within 3 weeks I had seriously increased my account balance. If I can do it then anyone can, so if you are looking for a simple, clear system to help you make money through forex trading I cannot recommend Forex Automoney highly enough. This system is all you need to start earning today.

There's even a helpdesk if you have any questions, and these guys are so quick to get back to you and really take the time and effort to help you out. I just wish all companies were this good!

Forex Trading Education

Most Forex retail traders will use some form of technical indicator in their trading careers. In this short article, I'm going to review 4 of the common types of technical indicators.

Trend Indicators

Trend indicators indicate the persistence of price movement in one direction over time. Trends can only occur in three directions: up, down or sideways. They are one of the most common indicators used by traders today. You may have heard the phrase "Trade with the trend", and that's how trend indicators are typically used.

The good thing about trend indicators is that they smooth out short-term price fluctuations (or "noise"), and enables a trader to focus on trading in the overall direction of where market prices are headed.

Volatility Indicators

Volatility is a general term used to describe the magnitude (or size) of market price fluctuations. Unlike trend indicators, volatility indicators don't take into account the directional movement of market prices: you can have highly volatile fluctuations no matter the direction of the trend.

Support/Resistance Indicators

Support and resistance indicators describe the price levels at which market price action tend to reverse. In an uptrend for example, prices may tend to reverse downward at resistance levels. The opposite is true for support levels.

Support and resistance occurs due to the dynamic interaction between buyers and sellers.

Momentum Indicators

Momentum is a general term that describes how quickly prices move over a given time period. In essence, momentum indicators measure the strength (or weakness) of a trend. Thus, momentum indicators are often used in conjunction with trend indicators.

Momentum is typically largest at the beginning of a trend, and grows weaker and weaker until the trend eventually reverses.

Learning to trade Forex is not difficult at all. In my experience, it takes the average person about 10 days to learn enough to begin trading.

However, it's a fact that almost 95% of all Forex traders fail to make any money!

One of the reasons, I believe, why so many retail traders lose money is because they buy into all the hype and unrealistic expectations that some unscrupulous Forex marketers want them to believe. This results in many traders not getting the right education and information in order to trade profitably.

The marketers want you to believe that there's a "hidden secret" to profitable Forex trading. They want you to believe that there are top-level "underground" traders out there that hold the "holy grail" of Forex trading... and that they're willing to sell it to you at a low price of under two hundred dollars.

Come on, who are they trying to kid? No one would possibly buy into this hogwash, would they?

Unfortunately, as much as common sense tells them this is probably too good to be true, thousands of people every month buy into these scam trading "systems". It's sad, but it's the truth.

In all honesty, there are no hidden secrets to successful Forex trading. Good trading involves logical, rational thinking coupled with hard work and discipline. That's pretty much all you'll need - not some super "black hat", mysterious "underground" trading system that will make you an instant millionaire.

But many people don't like to hear about this truth because it just doesn't sound sexy or exciting. They like to think that trading is like being in a casino - you just have to strike it rich once, and you'll be set for life! Yeah, right.

So please, don't fall into this way of thinking. Just put in the hard work, and be persistent. The rewards will pay off handsomely.

Learn Forex Trading

The foreign exchange market is widely known as "Forex". Here brokerage firms and banks are linked over an electronic network. This network enables them to convert the currencies of countries all over the world. It is the largest and the chief liquid financial market in the world. Dollar volume of dealing of currencies daily goes beyond $1.9 trillion dollars in the currency market. Sometimes it goes beyond even the total volume of all U.S. equities and future markets.

The Forex is often considered as being dominated by the government central banks, and commercial and investment banks. That is why private investors prefer to deal on the currency exchanges. It is easy for them to access via various technological innovations like the Internet.

Widely traded currencies include US Dollar, British Pound, Swiss Franc, Japanese Yen, Canadian Dollar and Australian Dollar. Trade in Forex is done for five days a week, round the clock with constant access to dealers throughout the world. It is not centered on any physical location or any exchange, as it is with the stock or future markets. Transactions take place between two corresponding persons over a phone line or through an electronic network.

Background

In the very beginning, there was a barter system i.e. exchange of goods with one another as per individual requirement. But its obvious limitations led to the establishment of mostly accepted channels of exchange.

Consequently, metal coins came to the scenario. However, paper form of governmental IOUs required approval in political administrations during the Middle Ages.

Prior to the First World War, most of the central banks moved ahead to support their currencies with convertibility to gold. But at times, this resulted in political instability due to devastating inflation. This was due to the expanding supply of paper money with no gold coverage. Therefore, Forex controls were initiated to protect local national interest.

Later on, during the Second World War, the USA introduced the Bretton Woods agreement in July 1944. As a result, this agreement led to a system of fixed exchange rates that re-established the gold standard to an extent and also stabilized the dollar at USD 35/oz. It also fixed the other prominent currencies to the dollar and thus made it permanent.

The last few decades have witnessed the developing of Forex trading into the largest global market. By now, all the restrictions from the capital flows have been put off in several countries. It has resulted in the independency of the markets to settle Forex rates as per their perceived values.

There are a number of reasons due to which Forex trading has gained popularity. The most prominent include available leverage, utmost liquidity round the clock a day and extremely low dealing cost, which relate to trading. Certain basics of Forex trading are as follows:

Margin Trading: Here trading is done generally on a margin basis. A larger position in the market can be acquired by a relatively small deposit.

Base and Variable Currency: Trading is done with the combination of two currencies. But two sides of trade are always there i.e. long (bought) and short (sold). Not always, but generally, the trade currency is with the highest value.

Spot and Forward Trading: This means that if no further step is taken, then, dealing will be settled after two business days.

Interest Rates Differentials: Different interest rates are paid by different currencies.
